My cousin lives in Phoenix. We grew up in New Jersey and the heat is really getting to her. They have a place in the mountains, but her husband is sick and not doing well at that altitude. Worried about them. I hope she can see views like this.
@eudora I only visit the 'valley' now and then. Flagstaff is 5000 ft higher and 2 hours north which is fine with me. The elevation can really be tough on some, my sister doesn't visit me because she gets sick almost right away. Altitude sickness is often mistaken for the flu but the heat in Phoenix is just too much for me. Has your sister thought about Yuma, still hot but a respectable 141 ft high.
