Cathedral Butte

Out mapping full moon shot locations this morning. I am also in the process of saying good-bye to Sedona. We are moving to the Pacific Northwest so I am giving the high desert areas of Arizona, which I love dearly, a proper send off. This week I will be concentrating on Sedona.

That's going to be a huge change in climate! Thankfully both areas are equally beautiful when it comes to nature. This would make an awesome Moon shot locale- especially if you can get it lined up between and just above the rock formations.

Thank you all so very kindly. This particular butts would require me to have gone on the other side to catch the rising moon. It is a dirt road to get there and kinda isolated. The Sedona rocks are nothing short of spectacular, so much beauty.
