Just after I captured this, the one horse 'said' enough and turned back sharply towards the beach. I so lucky to see horses at the coast yesterday. I have always had a dream to run/gallop along the shore on horseback. Though that may never happen. The tide was receding after high-tide so the waves were still rather pronounced. Hope that this fits for landscapes, in Flash of Red.
Great shot!!! I too have had that same dream. That and being able to gallop for miles with no roads, ditches, fences or power lines to block the way. We know that will NEVER happen.
That does look like a big surf. I think the horse might be smarter than the rider. That does always seem so inviting to ride along the water’s edge, but not into it.
