Blue moonrise

I saw the moon rising on the way home the other night. Taken with my phone and a day after the full moon since it was raining and cloudy. I knew that I wouldn't get anything close to a great shot of the moon but really liked the painterly feel to this.

Actually, for me, it is the shapes of the trees surrounding the moon that make this photo, and the streaks of cloud. Yes should be viewed on black .
