Day 2 of Yr 3. I had promised myself to stretch my range. I chose to go dark for the year. My project is called PMAE- push my artistic envelope. I also just received my new SonyE mirrorless (A6000). I have only begun to play with this baby and with all if can do it may take me a big chunk of time.
Nice rig. Those Sony compacts are great. I was fiddling with one at the store yesterday. Well built and great optics too if a bit expensive if you try to get the zeiss glass....Using the Minolta glass on them is a great idea. I just read yesterday that Sony purchased Minolta long ago and there is a plan to issue a new line of Minolta cameras soon.
@gardenfolk I truly thank you for your comment and especially your patience with my ever so late response.
@pickerandagrinner The little camera fits into my pouch that I take on my walks which is nice. There are a lot things that are way beyond me yet. I did buy an adapter for my A mount lenses so I am beginning to play with those. The Zeiss' lenses will have to wait for a bit-gotta win the lottery. It does rely on the menu function for a great deal. I have been going to YouTube for help - much better than the manual.
@stephanies Thank you a great deal for the fav, this new toy is small but way beyond me at times.
@joysabin Yes, the menu system is a bit gnarly. I think the best thing is to set up a "my menu" location where frequently used settings are stored. I assume this is possible. I remember fumbling to find the format setting. Some of the old Minolta MDX lenses are fantastic. The 50 1.4 is one of the sharpest 50's ever.

@ukandie1 Thank you, the staying dark will be good for me. I so enjoy your b&w work.
@deborah63 I hope to not get lost with this new toy. It can sync with my phone and computer- OMG, doesn't do windows though :):)
