Dogwood Challenge this week: Vision - No peeking. Shoot as if you were using a film camera. That means that you will not look at the photograph you've taken until they are downloaded on your computer.
Interesting light. Like (happenstance?) the light source left of road sign, making the trees seem ethereal. Understand your reluctance for such a challenge; Girl, done good!
I also like the light through the trees and on the road, and the soft foliage. The lines in the foreground catch my attention too. A nice image, I think it looks better on black.
@golftragic Thank you, this is a regular corner that I pass, I though that maybe it might have some potential. @rjb71 Thank you. The late day sun here can be a real boon. @s4sayer You are so kind, thank you. Some days my muse and I just get snicky (technical term) with each other. @bkbinthecity Thank you so much. @jernst1779 The sun can be so intense but also a real benefit at times. @tstb13 Grateful, thank you. @megpicatilly To not peak was tough. I usually use the view finder and the screen to compose, this time I just took a couple of shots and turned off the camera to make myself be honest. @chikadnz Thank you, I see this corner a lot so I just took my shots and turned off the camera and went home. I guess my "meh" was that I just didn't follow my usual take lots of shots from several angles. It is good to push myself out of my comfort zone, now and then.
