PMAE No. 312

Craptastic Monday - to paraphrase @Northy (Thank you for a most fab term). I started out early with dew drops and good light but Monday took over. Nothing worth nothing so, out for a walk, gorgeous clouds, flat light and nothing. Came home with fingers crossed that something might be worth working with and then realized I couldn't find my lensbaby lens cap (for the iPhone). Back to same spot, couldn't find it but I did bring my monthly mile total up to snuff. Trying my best to have a positive attitude. Went back to early shots and landed in editland.
Love your edit! Sorry about the lens cap. I have lost so many it has become a family joke--and then this week I FOUND 2 of them.

Definitely craptastic. I like that word too and will add it to my vocabulary immediately. Know exactly what you mean about flat light, it's been like that here for 95% of the daylight time here for weeks. Hope you find you lens cap.

@eudora I will have to really search for one, they are odd. Thank you, it was Mr. S who said try that one it might have something. Glad I listened.
@golftragic I guess it was just Monday- take goodness it only happens once a week. I just have to be patient with myself.

There is large black hole somewhere in the universe which is full of lens caps. Mine amongst them!! Like this shot the colour is great. Oh I've also added craptastic to my vocabulary.

Nice soft colour and focus, fave. Hope you find the lens cap soon! We lost a whole lens here last week when I moved it out of the living area before visitors arrived, then couldn't locate it. Eventually found it in the room I expected it to be, but it had fallen down behind something!

Nice craptastic photo. Good term to have in our vocabulary. I really like your water droplets.

@s4sayer enjoy :) but pls note that i did not invent the term - rather i learned it here on 365... it was introduced to me some 5 or 6 years ago - i forget by whom...

@northy

@joemuli Thank you so kindly for the fav.
@thistle It must be similar as to where renegade socks go... @la_photographic Thank you so much.
@jernst1779 Hadn't thought to look at it on black, you are right. Thank you.
@s4sayer It is a most fulfilling term but, I think that I will save it and use it judiciously.
@chikadnz Thank you so much. Very glad that you found your lens.
@henrir Thank you so very much.
@northy Truly appreciate the update, the term is fun but its use should be tempered as to not water it down.

Interesting shot. Looks something like the profile of a dolphin. I like the border too.

@gardenfolk Thank you, I've got a microfiber cloth around it now, works just fine.
@mbrutus Thank you so much. I hadn't seen that but, you are right.

I like this image, the blue tone adds well. I am on the same plane, a bit sapped out. It's just a matter of waiting it out and finding a different place or subject than my normal environment.
