looks like you're having petals for breakfast.

Lovely colours and sense of movement. Making pot-pourri?

@blueberry1222 Didn't know that they were edible. Surprised me that people actually pay good money for the food grade ones. I just liked the color falling.

@golftragic I actually got paint on most of them - sloppy painter or basically just a klutz.

@joysabin There's lots of us around. :)

Beautiful capture. I love the motion of the falling petals.

really rather lovely

Wonderful action composition and shot. The white dishes and background really show off the colors of the petals. Action like that I have never tackled. I will have to put on my list of things to try to learn.

@haskar Thank you so much.
@domenicododaro Thank you, cleaning up the paint that I spilled was no fun, also glad the flowers had lots of petals.
@fbailey Thank you a great deal.
@henrir Truly appreciate the fav, thank you so much. I didn't know that it would take oodles of shots to get the movement like I wanted, petals don't fall on cue, :):)
@pistache I am grateful for the fav, I wonder what the velvet lensbaby would do - that might be next.
@jernst1779 Thank you so kindly for the fav. Give movement a try. I would really like to see what you do with it. I set my camera on a tripod and used the multi shot setting in drive mode and just took about 150+ exposures.
@thistle Thank you so very much for the fav. I going to try this with dried petals, they might fall smoother.
@s4sayer You would have laughed, I was holding the pitcher in one had and the remote shutter in the other and dumping and re-filling and then repeat-several times. I am truly grateful for the fav, thank you so much.
@stiggle Thank you so much.
@joemuli I haven't made my mind up about petal munching but we don't have any high-end restaurants around here so I have time to gather my courage. :):)
@taffy Thank you so much.
@ihallmackenreuther Thank you so very kindly.

@overalvandaan So very grateful for the fav. Roses are a favorite of mine even if I mine own aren't budding so well this year.

Same here funny enough, also lice and green flies seem to 'attack' the bushes this year (more than other years).

@joysabin
I know...been there, done that..or similar...
August 18th, 2018
Pretty petals!

@overalvandaan I've had luck before but this high dry climate seems to baffle me with most everything I try to grow- outside.
@gardenfolk Thank you so much. I really like this variety, do you happen to know the name?

I don't know for sure. There are quite a few two tone ( yellow/coral) combo roses...Bella Rosa, Ambiance, Diana, Princess of Wales Rose, maybe. I would check the internet! :)
