Actually I'm borderline high anxiety at the moment because my son is trying to get out of Puerto Rico and back to California. His United flight has been cancelled FOUR times already. He's trying to find another flight out on a different airline. When he flew to Puerto Rico to visit friends two weeks ago, the whole world had not yet exploded into a viral pandemic.
Such a stressful time, isn't it! Could make me phobic about ever leaving my home again! What a great way to enjoy time at home. Looks like a good collection to work through.

Well fortunately my son found another airline that will fly out on Sunday and he doesn't have to stop at JFK. Yeaaah! And to Taffy - those bottles in the photo are empty lol! I save them for my friend to take to the recycle company. Starting on a new batch now. : ).Diana I cannot believe your area would withhold alcohol to be sold! I'd have to leave the country. Be safe everyone!
Hope your son gets back soooner than later!! I went into the quarantine with 3 cases of wine ... I did not count on my husband partaking of so much of it. Glad my friend's winery, Koi Zen in San Diego, is making free local deliveries!!! All the best!!
@joysfocus@louannwarren for our country it is the right decision. There will be so much domestic violence going on during . We have stocked up, so do not fear that we will run dry. Btw, during lockdown there is also no working on the wine farms, that means some of them will loose their grapes this year :-(
@kwind I thought of that this morning too. I texted him all the rules from the CDC about self-isolating. He lives with me and grandma so we will all do the best we can. They cancelled his flight again until Monday. :-(
Oh my Joy... after laughing at your funny photo, I'm concerned for you son! The downside of Spring Break? And when he gets home...do you let him move in or quarantine elsewhere? Like @taffy , I'm really phobic about leaving home anymore!
@Weezilou Hi Louise! My son finally found a flight out of Puerto Rico and as of 10:30 this morning is now back in California and driving home from Sacramento Intl. airport. And yes he does live with me and grandma in Turlock. It's freaking me out a little but I have already told him he will be quarantined to his bedroom and bathroom. I have a lot of sani-wipes in his room, bathroom and our kitchen. And we have to keep our distance from him for a few days. It's friggin scary because people can have no symptoms and pass it to others.
@joysfocus Glad he's back...continue on the course you've taken... so sad to have to keep a distance from those we love! I hope he has enough to occupy himself as he keeps his distance...
