@aglennc@cejaanderson@deu49097@kmrtn6 I first used it today. Probably won't get posted until tomorrow.
Not much of a shot. But I haven't left the apartment all day.
I see great things with it, in the future, however.
@tristansmum The one thing that I did not think about in upgrading my equipment is size.
I am used to going to work with my Canon PnS in my front pocket.
The above canon T3i will certainly not fit in my front pocket.
It will fit in my knapsack but I wonder if it might be more trouble than it is worth, except for on my weekend workdays when I have longer breaks.
It is an excellent tool for planned photographic trips but for off-the-cuff shooting, which most of mine has thusfar been, it is unwieldy to carry around all the time.
I suspect that most of my 365 shots will still be taken with the PnS except for special, planned occasions.
I suppose I need to make more of those special occasions occur.
@jrambo001 congratulations. Get a decent bag and you won't notice the bulk of the camera. It is too good to leave at home and wait for the right opportunity. Did you invest in a Lensbaby? I promise a good bag is a good investment.
@spanner I bought a bag that is already proving too small.
I bought a used LensBaby Muse on eBay for $45, but have not had a chance to play with it yet.
I bought a couple of very inexpensive Holga lenses on Amazon ($25 ea.)- one a pinhole & the other a plastic lens 60mm. Nothing like an expensive camera fitted with lenses to make the shot look tattered!
