Returned from my sister’s having spent a couple of days looking through family photographs to try & get to know our ‘Daddy’.
We always called our Father ‘Daddy’ - I tried using ‘Dad’ because referring to ‘Daddy’ outside the home embarrassed me. All my friends referred to their Fathers as ‘Dad’. But ‘Dad’ sounded wrong in my mouth & ‘Daddy’ didn’t like it either!!
