These are tiny beige 16-Spot ladybirds (Tytthaspis 16-punctata) - only about 3mm long. There were lots of them swarming over this fence post this morning. Apparently fence posts are a favourite hibernation venue for these little creatures and the bright sunshine this morning has brought them out in abundance!
