Day 9 of our Mediterranean cruise was spent exploring the old town in Genoa. The temperature here was 36 degrees, but fortunately the narrow streets and high walls meant it was shady. Then a spectacular thunderstorm cleared the air and as we sail off it is beautifully clear and sunny. Marseille tomorrow
