Day 10 of our Mediterranean cruise was spent exploring Provence, France. This is taken from the watchtower on top of the Romantic amphitheatre looking down onto the arches of the walls and beyond into the town of Arles
@gijsje indeed it is! One of my favourite artists! It was lovely to see places where he wandered in the countryside and painted those incredibly vibrant and atmospheric works of art that no-one appreciated in his lifetime
