One of the Best things about Winter....

Guess what's for tea tonight... Because until now we have had a pretty mild winter, so not a lot of call for winter warmers.. But the hock bone was cooked up over night and the vege's were prepped so as we speak it is simmering away in the crockpot... emmm Vege Soup... shall I make some bread??

Yes please......even in mid summer this looks so good. The pumpkin seeds look really good in this picture. Don't you love the change of seasons ...there is good things in every one. Calving in full swing at ours...you will be the same?

@happypat Yes been a bit slow with the calving but had a big burst today.. so must of been waiting for the cold weather as per usual.. George does love the soup when he comes in from the cold.. got the bread proving in front of the fire so got lots of treats ready for him when he comes in...
