Our Native Tree fern is beautiful and it is nice to see this one from a different POV of being above it and looking into the centre.. This is also known as the Silver Fern as the bottom side of the leaves are a silver colour and it is used by lots of our sports teams as their symbol.. eg All Black or the Silver Ferns Netball team..
@maggiemae Would of been a bit scary to be this low in a helicopter.. On a path above the trees... a lot of the Punga's are looking a bit sick at the moment damage from frost..
