Champions.... by julzmaioro

Champions....

Today we attended the last Calf Club ( Ag Day) of my older Grandaughters.. This is a bit of an institution for children of country schools.. They can either have a calf, lamb or chicken. and look after it for 6 weeks or so and then show it on calf club day.
Taryn had a Angus x beef calf from our farm and did very well .. 3rd for leading , 2nd for rearing and the 1st for Beef type ... and then on to Champion Beef..
Shaniqua and Taryn did very well..
She got Champion? It looks really top class and she must be proud to receive all these awards!

I think this is a great idea for all kids, she would be so proud. Very well done! That calf is standing so well beside her. Max loves his Ag day but hadn't progressed past a lamb!
