Birds of a Feather....

This afternoon I was walking around the farm when I saw alot of birds sitting on the fence ... and of course the usual happens... just as you lift the camera ... at least half flew off .. but a few did hang around .. a mixture of chaffinch and yellow hammers ...

This is so well composed and I think it actually looks better with just a few birds as opposed to a whole bunch. Besides, more birds would have made the fence droop even more - LOL!
Don't worry - we have fences like this as well but - they still hold the animals in!
