Sorry a bit late with my Christmas Day upload... but here it is .. very busy day with hosting the Christmas Lunch for my family ( or part there of) and Kiwi style ham and prawns and Salads outside under the unbrella and gazebo ( how many man does it take to put up a gazebo?) .. and then dessert of a yummy Christmas Pudding made by my niece (with all the trimmings) and a Pavlova made by me .. The Pavlova is an on going discussion between NZ and Australia as to who 'invented it'.. but for the sake of Transtasman friendship we will call it the ANZAC Pavlova... is that ok @golftragic .. well it was all delicous. And then after Farmer George milked the cows we were out to the SIL for round two....
PAVLOVA !!!!! Looks JUST like I like it -- a bit crisp and airy on the outside, but creamy and chewy in the center, and with lovely fruit. I tried to order one at a restaurant every single day throughout my 10 day trip to Australia and NO restaurant had it on their menu!! Looks like I should have invited myself over to your place instead :) In Poland, they call it "tort bezowy"
