Boxing Day Rain....

This morning we woke to the sound of rain .. This was something for us Farmers to get excited about.
It has been nearly 6 weeks since we have had any rain of any significance and as we have a dairy farm we rely on a steady rainfall throughout the year to keep production up.. so if there is any lack of rain or sunshine it really inhibiats the growth ..
Certainly need the rain to keep on coming ... with fine day's inbetween..
This is looking out on to one corner of my garden .. so I can have a break from having to water the garden for one day ...
