I have been waiting for these little guys to come a feed on the Aloe flowers ever since they first appeared ... And this morning they were having a field day on them.. drinking the nectar and chasing each other .. Managed to catch this little fellow still for a few seconds..
The Waxeye are also known as Silvereye and White eye and Maori name is Tauhou which means Stranger or New Arrival... They were self introduced and first noted in 1832 and are found most parts of New Zealand ...
