Canels...

Today had the job helping son shift his cows from the home farm to a runoff a few k's away .. I was ahead waiting for them to turn them into the field.. had a bit of time to kill so got the camera out and played with a few settings.. you may be able to see that under the tree fern (Punga) the cows are just coming around the corner and a tractor was going the other way .. all managed with out any disasters.. like the reflection of the Punga in the canel..

This is wonderful. Do you worry about the cows falling in the canal and not being able to climb out? The canal sides look steep.

What a wonderful way to fill the waiting time!
We delegated that job to our daughters - I was the one leading the cows because they would follow me anywhere and Hubby was the one pushing them.
