Mustard Fields.. by julzmaioro

Mustard Fields..

These mustard fields are a common sight in the area at the moment. I really like this pov that has the Market garden shed on the top of the hill .. Mustard in grown as a green crop to rest the soil from potato or onions for a season it will be hoed in soon ...
MUSTARD! It looks like fields of Rapsblüten (Germany) or Nanohana (Japana) but strangely, I never knew the word in English. You've taken advantage of the field-resting-green to show the bright cheerfulness of the flowers and the patterns of building in the back.

To get the good photo - you have to have close focus as well as distant! This is so good! fav

Great photo, difficult sometimes to keep that yellow colour natural and portraying it the way it is in nature.

A wonderful scene. So the mustard isn’t harvested and sold? Just tilled back into the soil, how interesting.

@julzmaioro -- ahh, I think I have heard of rape-seed or something like that.

It looks a lot like our canola (rape seed) crops, but they flower in Spring.

Not a crop I’m used to seeing Julz but it’s very attractive! Not as glary yellow as rapeseed......nicely taken.

How marvellous with that lovely colour. It's very similar to the canola fields here. :)

Same in our country. They use often a fall and winter season for it
