Hoya by julzmaioro

Hoya

My Hoya plant is flowering and looking spectacular.. My Sister gave me this plant after she took ma cutting from a plant she got from our Aunty around 40 odd years ago..
Beautiful!

I love Hoya flowers! I had to leave my plant in PA last year because the movers wouldn’t take it. My brother happily adopted it to sit next to his own glorious Hoya! Beautiful capture!

@loweygrace you will have to.take a cutting to start a new plant up.. Apparently they are very trendy and make big money on Amazon..

Super shot - and these are not easy to catch - their textures don't seem to make it easy. :)

I was given a cutting recently, but not sure if it will root successfully yet. It is nice to have heirloom plants to clone and pass around the family , i am doing with my Nana's string of hearts which i remember as a child .

Some provenance! I've never tried growing Hoya, I always presumed it would be too hard!

I love the way you have chosen to photograph this. We have a 58 year old inherited Hoya. Maybe I could interest some of our family to try cuttings.
