FG and I went down to the beach today..It is always very colourful this time of year with the lupins in full flower and the scene was made even more interesting with the drift wood been piled up into tee pee's.. This is the mouth of the Waikato River where it goes into the Tasman Sea.
@happypat We just get the yellow lupine here growing around sand dunes but the pink mauve and blue ones down around the rivers in the South Island look spectacular.. saw a photo the other day with the lupins with the cute little Tekapo Church ⛪ in the background..
