Gorgeous Dahlia's...

Went to an open day today of a garden that has just opened up as a function Centre in particular Weddings.. They grow there picking flowers in huge beds and when not needed for the Weddings ect they are for sale.. I could not resist bringing a bunch home.. and some samples of Wedding cake..

They are very clever and selective with their plantings. That white tiny flower is so special,.... I wish I could remember - is it gypsophila?

Beautiful photo. I spent 5 months in Israel on my OE (just one or two years ago :)) and picked gypsophila. The stem had to be at least as long as our finger tips to our armpits to be considered for export.

That dahlia is such a beauty….I’ve never had these flowers in a garden but this is a beauty. Alex had dahlias on her tables at the wedding venue at The Hall near Te Aroha.
