Another of my Wharf Characters.. this chap had been coming to Raglan for years with his wife for a few weeks every year, and did fishing together, until just over a year ago his wife died very suddenly and he felt he couldn't come any more.. his family talked him into it and so here he is.. He said he has had a lovely time, and pleased he came and will be back, though the fishing was not as good as in the past.. He had a tear in his eye and a quiver in his chin as he was telling us the story.. a lovely man and I hope he make the trip many more times..
