Beaten by the Bugs...

I have been waiting for this lovely little orange Dahlia to burst into flower .. went and checked it out today of all of the flowers on the plant had nibbles taken out of them.. so took a shot anyway.. Added a 'layer' just to make in 'pop' ..

I've found that there are always a lot of earwigs - can be sprayed but I don't. I just stare at them and they wither away! They are a lovely complex flower - so many different types!
