Crosses in the Wall of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Carved by pilgrims over the years, my guide encouraged me to be patient (as I am not) and wait for Nuns to pass by, heightening the meaning of the crosses etched into the wall.

I can't decide which composition works more effectively and would appreciate feedback: https://365project.org/jyokota/omake/2017-11-06

Alternate album with nuns drinking pomegranate juice: https://365project.org/jyokota/challenges-and/2017-11-06
very effective composition with the low pov focussing on those crosses and the blur of the passing nuns, your guide was right! Great in b/w too. Fav

@jesperani @blueberry1222 -- I found another version and wondered if it might be better in composition -- what do you think? https://365project.org/jyokota/omake/2017-11-06

I like this one, I think. The details of the crosses are still there, and the setting and the people are more clearly visible.

Fantastic photo! I agree with Kathryn ^^ as I like the more visible people.

@jyokota this is my personal favourite out of the 2

Though, as Kahsia noted in the other photo, it would be tempting to edit out the laypeople.

I like this one Junko. The detail of the crosses and the nuns can be seen clearly. What a great guide you had!! Fav!

If not for the tourists (?) in the background this image could have been taken years ago. Lovely capture

I really like this one, the blurring of the nuns against those ancient carvings works for me.

I like the movement of the nuns on the stairs, but shame there are some tourists in the shot.
