Buck Moon over Adler Planetarium by jyokota

Buck Moon over Adler Planetarium

Complete cloud cover so we started photographing light trails, etc. and all of a sudden, the moon started to shine through the haze. I couldn't get the redness I could see, but others did. Looks like @kvphoto , @radiogirl, @caterina, and @lesip and I were photographing the same moon from different parts of the country!

An amazing image, and a new term for me, “buck moon”.

Love it, you created with this moon such a beautiful scenery.

Interestingly the color of the moon in all of our shots was so similar… so cool that across the country we saw a similar moon. Very nice shot.

How did you succeed in capturing both the rabbit and the reflection on the water? I were able to capture one or the other

@caterina I did link you immediately when you posted this -- thanks for letting me know! But I forgot to answer your question. Because I don't know. I think I just got lucky? Most of all, I wish I had been able to capture the moon as red as it looked to the eye. I can't wait til we get to go photo walking together again! I've now canceled my trips for September, October and December but still holding. hope for 2022.
