I had so much fun photographing these figures and ultimately posting a pretty decent final product. The next night, when I walked past my studio still intact on the dining room floor, I had to laugh. The 365 album is full of my attempt to show "my best." But the real stories sometimes lie in what doesn't get posted. Here you have it -- the fringe on the rug folded back so it wouldn't interfere in the foreground, the placemat going up the wall because the vacuum cleaner had left a lot of chipped areas along the baseboard, the macro lens I was saying goodbye to (temporally), the base of the Ott Lamp, and -- the tissue that @ruthhill75 recommended I use when I practiced flash photography!
