Labour by kareenking

Labour

"Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that it had cost me to do them; and behold, all was vanity and pursuit of the wind, and there was no profit under the sun." Ecclesiastes 2:11
This photo was taken while passing slowly through a construction zone. Wish I could have gotten a better close up of this man's weary face, but then again, maybe not. :)
By the way, if you missed the previous photo (which I'm very fond of) check out http://365project.org/kareenking/365/2013-06-21 for some more pleasant-looking expressions. I've entered both in the Theme - Moments challenge which ends tomorrow.
Cool processing, though. I am not sure I would have ventured any closer. Like the verse.

@danette Haha, thanks Danette. You're right. I think there might have been a too-close-for-comfort issue there. :)

A great candid shot, good composition, and the sepia works well.

Great image, the sepia toning along with his bushy beard and tired posture somehow ages the whole picture!
