We're the new neighbors

A group of Canada geese has decided to stop over. I'm not sure if they are migrating north, or if they'll be staying. There are about 12-15 of them. For the past few days they've been walking around under the trees, picking up berries (or crabapples? I'm not sure what kind of tree this is), and sometimes honking.

I smile because in Jacksonville Fl, where my son lives a large group came down one winter about 7 years ago and never went back. Guess they decided, who needs winter.
