Really? by kchuk

Really?

I thought winter was on the way out. It was 55 degrees out just two days ago. Along came winter storm Vulcan, bringing heavy wet snow followed by single-digit temperatures, to remind me that it's not quite over yet!
I love Chicago, but only return in the summer. We left 32 years ago, when we had one of those does it ever end winters.

Is this Chicago? Could be Holland in winter( when we have one). Seem cars, seem buildings, seem trees . Love the shape of the tree in front

Wasn't that a horrible surprise!! You've captured the shock well, and the fact that it's snow on top of snow that just won't go away! I hope you're enjoying today's sun and warmth!

``will it bear fruit, too?” `` No , that tree , about 20 years old, grows in a jar and is only about two feet high.

Definitely not spring yet! I hope it won't be the same here. Last year we had snow in March. Right now all the trees are blooming over here.

Oh my goodness! It looks frigid outside!!! Hope it melts and warms up soon! Thanks for your nice comment on the ajuga. Yes, it is a flat ground cover that sends out runners and spreads nicely. Just in the Spring, it has the tall flowers. You can Google it, but not sure it would survive one of your winters!
