I think this was built not long before we left or not long after. I remember seeing it, but couldn't remember which building. My husband was at Gould Simpson most of the time.

@pinktornado39 I'm new to this area and this school. What is Gould Simpson? Is your husband an alum? This is in front of the Koffler Chemistry Building.

It's the geology building. Yes, he's an alum (Ph.D) and on the advisory board for the geology dept. He also did some work for the tree ring lab.

@pinktornado39 Very cool. I'm here working on my PhD in Political Science. Oh, geology is a tough topic, a hard science, but very fun too (I'm sure). My sister is working on her PhD in medical entomology.

sweet! it's been quite a ride! i've seen more rocks than i ever thought i would. lol. good luck to you. i stopped at my M.A. in history. since i'm a stay at home mom these days, i'm sufficiently over educated. ;-p

@pinktornado That is awesome!!! History is such a fun topic and I'm sure being a mom is a tough job (yet a fulfilling job)! We look at a lot of history in Political Science. My M.A. was in Political Science specializing in International Relations and we studied a lot of world history while studying the theories. What type of history did you study?
