I can't help but comment as this is so beyond the pale... Shouldn't we look back through millennia and be grateful and blessed that we're people who have evolved. Evolved human beings set themselves apart from mob mentality. What a travesty to have the world look in and see "people" acting like that in this (or any) country!
@Weezilou Thank you as always for your thoughtful contribution, Ma'am! From tge windows of my sister's 15th floor apartment, I was struck by the blight just blocks from the beautiful Inner Harbor. The comparison to wildfires was overwhelming. Good management to clear the underbrush is paramount and to do otherwise is irresponsible. Some of the living conditions in this beautiful city are deplorable and lead to the powder keg situation befalling the city now.
