Just at the end of the period of totality in Greenville, Missouri I spotted two sunstars... what an epic event. So happy to get to witness totality yesterday. I just looked at this shot again and can see a huge area of red... I think it is the prominences again... our Nasa expert told us that the sun is very active right now and that is why we saw them.
