Yesterday I experienced 19 different grizzly bears including this mom and her twins as they ran into the river in search of a salmon. Notice on the cub on the right seems to have pink eyebrows. We also saw another mom and twins as well as two separate sets of triplets during the day. I narrowed my 540 pictures down to 140 so it's difficult to know which ones to share. I thought I'd go with the cute factor today and tomorrow share a more action packed model.
***update: there was a news reporter on the trip. Tonight they ran this story. I'm at the very end sitting on the ground with the grey sweater looking through my camera. Here's the link: http://vancouverisland.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=445012

Have just gone through your facebook shots - I don't know how you can choose between them, I would have been proud to take any of those shots they are excellent.
A very beautiful capture of those beautiful bear and the cute, lovely twin.
Love it it`s taken in a river and not in a zoo.
Thank you very much for you visit and the so great comment. Appreciate it very much.
OH MY!!! FANTastic!!! These should go in a wildlife magazine. Incrediblely beautiful! Can't think of enough to say about it. Congrats by the way! Are these all taken near where you live or are you on an adventure? I know I am a bit behind. MEGA FAV
@eyesmile The 9 hour tour left my hometown and travelled about 2.5 hrs by boat. We then got off the boat and onto a bus that took us to several different grizzly viewing spots. It was an incredible experience. Thanks for the fav!
Wow.........what an amazing opportunity to go on for a photography shot!!

Sorry I am going back to this most amazing photo. BC is very close to my heart for many reasons, & the two times we were there we 'think' we saw a bear:)
