Thank you for all your comments and fav's on my eagle shots from yesterday. It truly was amazing to see so many. Almost a year ago I saw 13 on the front side of our property: http://365project.org/kwind/365/2013-03-16
What a crazy day!! We woke at 5:30am to watch the end of the gold medal hockey game (Yeah, Canada!) and it was snowing. 5cm of snow was forecast but it snowed ALL day and we now have a solid 15cm here at sea level! We left the house at 8:45am to help my best friend move. I got stuck in the snow at one point and had to turn around and find another route! At her higher elevated house there is more like 25cm! We arrived home at 4:30pm and shovelled a path through our LONG driveway. I only managed a couple of shots today. It was low tide most of the day so the snow piled up on the beach rocks. This is looking north with Quadra Island in the distance. That big rock is the one I shot four days ago with the large wave hitting it. You'll remember it was virtually covered by the crazy ocean that day.
