We had a beach fire last night with some friends. Here's one of the two cruise ships that passed by on their trek from Alaska south while we visited. I started the fire myself without any paper... I was quite pleased with myself!
Beautiful. I bet the people on the boat wished they could sit by a fire. Such a great thing to do by the sea. I remember when we were kids and my father would do this. Now it's illegal.
Wonderful ambiance!!! Great fire maker! If you have a small amount of pitch (from pine trees) you can easily start a fire without paper. Probably not too many pine trees on your beautiful beach. What a great views you have. Just a slice of heaven!
