This is the road climbing into my village called Middleyard, you can see the name sign in the middle of the picture. The daffodils greet you as you enter the village and the road on the other side of the village has a similar welcome. I live just at the top of this hill.
The yellow zigzags on the road indicate that you are close to the village primary school, in fact it's just off to the left, and for the children's safety you are not allowed to park in this area. Although there is a lollipop lady to help the children cross, the non-parking areas give a good view for the children.
