Let's get Fruity Together.

It's been a beautiful few days with the temperature up to 27 degrees C (80 degrees F), so I had a little walk around my friends garden and I came across her strawberry patch. Loved the little mats protecting them from the soil.

Now I understand that this is the first fruit, shall I, is anyone looking, oh blow she was right behind me. Now where are the gooseberry bushes, I must check them out because when I asked my Mother where did I come from, she always replied, "I found you under a gooseberry bush", I think she was telly little fibs.

You could always blame the birds. They love strawberries. Don't get too close to the gooseberry bush...it might grab you back.

IT's mid winter for us, and tomorrow our temp is 26!! Nice winter hey?! FAbulous capture - I would love to grow strawberries but our soil is too full of clay :(
