Hurricane Bertha is still having effects on us even 24 hours after first landing in the UK. Very strong winds and sudden dark skies that then empty all over us, 5 minutes later we are back to blue skies and sunshine. It then starts again.
I was lucky to get a capture last night and I'm sure that my friends out there will take anything I say with a pinch of salt, another phrase that comes when food was said to be so bad that it was easier swallowed with a pinch of salt.
I was thinking whilst looking at this poor moth, how awful it must be for male moths to be castrated so that the remnants can be hung up in wardrobes to protect clothes from other moths. I suppose these other moths look at the mothballs and fly away worried in case it happens to them. (Wink, Wink).
LOL You had me there for a second. Thought I was going to have to journey across the big pond and throw a net over you. Guess it will have to wait for another day....mothballs.
