The rain has been coming down in buckets today (and buckets hurt, Wink). So much so that during a downpour there was a hammering on my back door. Stood there was my big Brother in a teashirt looking like a drowned rat, he had been mowing the lawn for my neighbour and had been caught out. Never mind a quick rub down with a dry towel and he was fine.
The gist of the above is I have dived into my spares and found this beautiful small yellow flower to share with you. It was in my neighbours garden and thanks to another good friend I have found out it's called "Chiastophyllum Solar Yellow" or Turtlehead for short.
Just think it's the rain that gives us these lovely flowers so we shouldn't complain should we. Anyway my Brother is a 6ft 3" ex-policeman and he certainly didn't need watering.
A lovely capture and great story to go with it. I'm sure your brother was quite the sight, standing there at your door. Lucky for him that you live close by!
We had a steady downpour today as well, but the sun broke out in time for me to take an evening photo walk tonight downtown. These yellow flowers are delightful, cascading little things. Beautifully captured!
