It's almost the end of Cricket season here in England and I expect it's about to start in Australia. Now the following information is for our American friends that have never seen or heard of Cricket before.
When a batsman goes in to bat but is either bowled out or caught with out scoring a run, it's said "He is out for a Duck". There are two innings in a match, so if the batsman is "Out for a Duck" in both innings it'c called "A Pair".
So again down by the canal I must must have been out twice, with this "Pair of Ducks". Don't I come out with some useless information, Quack, Quack.
