After the recent storms we have had frosty nights but clear blue skies during the day. By the late afternoons the shadows lengthen across the valleys and give this effect on the fields near my home.
I don't think the sheep notice as they are to busy munching the lush grass with a hint of ice in places. This was taken from one of my favourite spots, up by the spring where many people stop for fresh clean water, including myself. For some reason it tastes better in your coffee than the tap water with all the additives.
