I need cheering up, woke up this morning with no heating or hot water, fortunately being a pensioner the Engineer has been out this afternoon, and after chipping icicles off my nose he got it going again, temporary I will add, as he has ordered three new parts to be fitted by another engineer tomorrow. At least I'm getting visits from nice young men.
I managed to capture this wonderful sky just as the sun was dropping. I knew I was on part of a flight path but seems activities were quite busy. Fortunately it's not noisy, as by the time that the planes have reached the Cotswolds from Heathrow 100 miles away, the planes are very high, hence the vapour trails.
So if anyone is coming over to England let me know and I will give you a wave. View with the dark background if you have time, it's worth it.
A beautiful sky with great vapor trails! To bad the heating and hot water were off this morning, hopefully the new parts get there soon and it will get fixed permanently!
lovely shot of these vapour trails -= Fav. I hope those nice young men get your heating & hot water fixed properly tomorrow. Always a good excuse to oggle attractive men!!!! LOL I must admit I have a passion for firemen!
@ladymagpie No but if your smoke alarm battery goes duff and starts beeping in the middle of the night and you ring the fire brigade for advice, they send their lovely firemen round. I know from experience when I was on my own many years ago and they sent the fire engine too!
Hope your heating is more permenently repaired tomorrow.
@rosiekind Are you suggesting I should set fire the the house Rosie.
