"If you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise", yes it's that Lady Magpie rummaging around in the trees. Spring seem's to have suddenly appeared and brought me out with my GPS and geocaching hunting ability, I can smell one a mile off.
This was a lovely walk through this wood, still a bit muddy under foot so had to be careful. On the far side was hidden the cache but I had to do a bit of tree hugging to get it. I think this must be quite a new plantation as you can see the blue sky through the branches.
My Mother always told me that the fairies lived in the wood but I didn't see one or any elf's. There was however a small clearing with teddy bears having a picnic, marmalade sandwiches I expect as well. View with the dark background.
I know that song, Heather! Husband and I and our little granddaughter used to march through the house, while we sang along with the teddy bears picknick song. Great fun! She 's thirteen years old now, so I don't think we are going to do that again.
