A Cascade of Flowers. by ladymagpie

A Cascade of Flowers.

It's lovely to go down to my friends garden to find what new flowers are breaking into life. These looked lovely around the on the edge of the boarders and you can see how they change into various purples.

These are called Aubretia and can cascade down rockeries or edges of walls. They flower between March and May and as you can see some have already passed by, needless to say there are more pretty flowers to follow.

Best viewed with the dark background.
A really fabulous capture of a beautiful flowering plant.

A very pretty shot. Bought some new aubretia a couple of weeks ago, they are now minus their flower heads. Looks like the slugs have been busy.
