There's Goblins in the Garden

I've been sneaking around my friends garden again looking for fairies or pixies. Couldn't find any today but I did come across a Goblin lurking in the border. You know how nasty Goblins can be so I quickly took a photograph and scarpered.

Of course it wasn't a real Goblin but this plant called a Gaillardia 'Goblin' or Blanket Flower. It did look pretty but it could have been in disguise and suddenly jump up and eat me. I must try and put my vivid imagination to good use some day.

View with the dark background if you have time.
Pretty vivid colors. Glad you escaped from the goblin in the garden so you can share more stories of your escapades!!
